MCKENZIE MEADOWS DEVELOPMENT
The lands are located on the west side of McKenzie Road, South of Fuller Road in the urban area of Caledonia. The developer of the project is 2036356 Ontario Inc., and is a two-phased residential development project will consist of a minimum of 700 residential units up to a maximum of 1000. The entire land holding is approximately 107 acres, in which Phase 1 will develop 25.2 acres and 200 residential units. Engagement led by the Consultation and Accommodation Process Team.
Project Benefits
$1,250.00 per residential unit will be paid to a dedicated purpose account for the construction of Kawenni:io/Gaweni:yo Private School. Minimum of 700 residential units up to a maximum of 1000 $1,250 X 700 = 875,000.00 OR $1,250 X 1000 = 1,250,000.00
Commercial Development Benefits
Equivalent of 6 residential units ($1,250/unit) per acre of commercial development.Potential Job Opportunities Available
The Developer will work with SNEC to present employment opportunities where practicable to qualified SN members. The Developer will work with SNEC to conduct a one-day Job Fair in Six Nations for each Phase of the project.
